Mountain Home National Cemetery hosted its annual Vietnam Veterans Day Program last Thursday.

Jeny Walker, the director of Mountain Home National Cemetery, welcomed veterans and family members of those who served in Vietnam. Vietnam veterans John Pollack, Moe Baines and Gordon Fields all spoke at the event, and the importance of passing their stories along to the next generation of Americans was a central theme.

The Vietnam Veterans of America #979, American Legion 3/265, Veterans of Foreign Wars (Post 3), Patriot Guard Riders of America, Dog Tag Brigade and Rolling Thunder also participated in the event.
