Science Hill students attend rare July prom
After the COVID-19 outbreak wiped out the final nine weeks of the 2019-20 school year, a lot of Science Hill students feared they’d miss their prom.
But many of them gathered together on July 11 at the MeadowView Convention Center for a Roaring 20s themed Great Gatsby prom night full of dancing and memories. The event allowed students like Michael Poole and Miah Ross – who both recently graduated from Science Hill – the opportunity to regain their lost prom night and experience a bit of normalcy.
