The Town of Jonesborough is proud to host the 2021 Jonesborough Christmas Parade scheduled for Saturday, December 11 at 6 p.m. on Main Street in Historic Jonesborough.
Christmas is fast-approaching and the Town of Jonesborough is gearing up for another festive season. This will be a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends, grab a cup of hot chocolate, throw on mittens and hats and gather to watch the annual lighted nighttime Christmas Parade. As one of the only nighttime parades in the area, Jonesborough takes advantage of the beautiful small-town setting in the downtown area as the stage for the event.
The parade’s theme this year is “Christmas in the South” and will include a host of entries festively decorated for the season with garland, Christmas lights, trees with live Christmas music. Santa Claus will join the parade and will also sit in his sleigh next to the Washington County Courthouse following the parade for pictures. He will also take wish lists from all children.
Participants can register here. Additional information about the parade can be found at jonesboroughtn.org. Contact Rachel Conger at rachelc@jonesboroughtn.org or 423.791.3869 for more information.
