Last Sunday, angels rejoiced, a little drummer boy kept beat, camels and wise men traveled from afar, and community members gathered as Harrison Christian Church in Johnson City opened up the Christmas season with a live Nativity scene. The Gospel telling of the age-old Christmas story rang out through the warm December air. And as little ones “oohed” and “aahed” at the camels and other livestock and as friends and family gathered near, one thing was certain: The season of good news and great joy is upon us.
