He has captained the ship for 31 years directing The Chamber of Commerce serving Johnson City/Jonesborough/Washington County. Gary Mabrey, retiring president/CEO of the chamber, was honored last Monday evening with a reception and dinner noting his years of dedicated service to our local communities.
Business leaders, chamber board members, past presidents and employees shared stories of Mabrey’s leadership over the years including a number of funny antidotes as well as huge successes, community advancement and progress during his tenure.
