Food City Celebrity Bagging Event held to benefit local United Way organizations

Food City hosted the 10th Annual Celebrity Bagging Event last week to benefit communities through the United Way of Washington County TN, the United Way of Bristol and the United Way of Southwest Virginia.

The event was held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and involved Food City stores and celebrities in the three communities. “We were excited to partner again with Food City to do this event,” said Lester Lattany, President and CEO of the United Way of Washington County Tennessee. “Our local celebrities had a great time bagging groceries for Food City customers while raising money for local campaigns that will benefit the community health and human service organizations that partner with the United Way.”
