A round of heavy rain wasn’t enough to keep the Easter Bunny away, but it did force several churches and organizations to move their annual Easter egg hunts indoors last weekend.
Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church and Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church were two organizations who opted to move their egg hunts indoors. Munsey welcomed young members of the community into the ETSU MiniDome on Saturday while Wesley invited kids to come find eggs hidden throughout the hallways of the church building on Sunday morning between Easter services.
Munsey’s event featured a special egg hunt geared specifically for children with disabilities, providing children with specials adaptive tools that allowed them to get in on the fun.
