The United Way of Washington County gathered with representatives from Atmos Energy on a sun-soaked Thursday morning to celebrate a partnership that has provided the United Way with the gift of mobility.

Atmos provided the 14-passenger bus to the United Way as part of a national campaign to aid charitable organizations. Officials from Atmos and the United Way gathered outside the United Way’s headquarters on North Roan Street to cut a ribbon officially opening the bus, which will soon hit the streets to help with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee’s summer feeding program for children in our area.
