The local living history group, A Walk in Their Boots, hosted its ninth-annual All-Era Military Timeline last weekend at Tipton Haynes Historic Site in Johnson City.

The free event featured reenactors portraying U.S. troops from throughout the country’s history. In addition to military equipment and weaponry, reenactors also highlighted the activities that took place on the home front during World War II as scrap drives, book drives and victory gardens helped bolster the war effort.
