Members of Watauga Avenue Presbyterian Church recently donated a check to Tiffany Collins, a physical education teacher at Woodland Elementary who lost her home in a fire on July 15 of this year.
The home, which was located near the church, was a total loss, and members collected donations throughout the fall to help Collins with her expenses. The check was presented to Collins by Rev. Pat Locke and Ginger Helm the week before Christmas.
