The annual rivalry game between David Crockett and Daniel Boone was played under the pall of tragedy last Friday night.

During the pregame festivities before the Musket Bowl, a skydiver lost his life following an accident during his descent into the stadium. The start of the game was delayed, and both teams met at the middle of the field before kickoff for a word of prayer.

When the game began, Daniel Boone took control and cruised to a 35-7 victory over the Pioneers. Both teams will finish out the regular season next week on the road.
