David Crockett’s girls and Science Hill’s boys captured the team titles at the Bristol Cross meet last Saturday.
Rachel Dulaney finished sixth to pace the Lady Pioneers to victory over runner-up Science Hill. Emily Ward, Ashlynn Roy, Breanna Dunn and Grace Krell followed Dulaney across the finish line to help the Lady Pioneers prevail.
On the boys’ side, Aaron Jones crossed the line fourth to help the Hilltoppers win a tiebreaker over Oak Ridge. Zach Cooper, Ray Richardson, Steven Johnson and Tatum Mackie helped Science Hill earn the crucial points it needed to secure the victory.
