Thousands put ‘Gobble in their Wobble’

During the 2016 Turkey Trot, 3,748 people braved the damp course. It was a record breaking year for male winner Austin Whitelaw, whose winning time of 14:43, topped the event record from 2010 of 15:33 set by Michael Mansy. Luke Meade (15:01.8) and Joseph Mullen (15:17.4) finished second and third.

The women’s overall winner was Stephanie Place who finished with a time of 18:03.9. Susan Rollins, 58, of Johnson City broke a state record with a time of 20:33. Daniel Moody, 9, also set a new state record with a time of 19:40.
