Johnson City Schools is excited to honor the Johnson City Schools Hall of Fame Class of 2020 during a ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 21 at 3:30 inside the Science Hill auditorium. The group will also be recognized at halftime of Science Hill’s football contest against Elizabethton on Friday, Aug. 20.
The event is free and open to the public. Any hall of fame member or family member(s) who plan to attend the event and has not yet RSVP’d, please e-mail Collin Brooks at BrooksB@jcschools.org. Nominations for the next Johnson City Schools Hall of Fame class are being accepted. Nominations forms can be found at www.jcschools.org/halloffame.
The 10 members of the 2020 class include J. Neil Armstrong, Preston Campbell, Steve Darden, Col. Mike Johnson, Dr. Richard Manahan, Terrell Ponder, William Warren Simmons, Dr. Ellen Stites Wyatt, Lorenzo Wyatt and Mike Young.
