The Southside Neighborhood Organization will welcome a new jazz quintet, The B Sharps, to the park on Sunday Sept. 8 for Music in the Park.
Specializing in jazz and pop standards, this group will bring a wide variety of instrumental and vocal swing, pop, groove-funk, and Latin music to our Sunday afternoon summer music series.
The event will take place at Veterans Park, in front of South Side Elementary School, at 1101 Southwest Avenue from 3 to 5 p.m. There is no charge for admission. The full Music in the Park lineup can be found at www.tree-streets.com/page/music-in-the-park.
