Frontier Health’s Victory Center programs are hosting their Fourth Annual Northeast Tennessee Recovery Fest from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Victory Center location in Johnson City. The event is free and open to the community. Community agencies and resources will be represented throughout the event, including NAMI, the Tennessee Disability Coalition, Woodridge Hospital, Frontier Health, Victory Center, HOPE for Tennessee, Ask the Pharmacist, Peer Support, Insight Alliance, ETSU Disability Services, Shakti in the Mountains, 3R Massage Therapy, Tri-Cities Survivors of Suicide support group, and Vik Moore Tennessee Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. Recovery Coach Teresa Godsey will do an In Our Own Voice presentation.
Grab bags will be distributed and crafts, games including corn hole, cakewalk, beach ball dodge, balloon release and prize giveaways are available. Pure Illusions will present a magic show. Food will be available. For more information about the Recovery Fest, call (423) 928-6000.
