Roe to Hold Veteran Focused Town Hall Meeting

May 28, 2019Rep. Phil Roe, M.D. (R-Tenn.) announced he will hold a town hall meeting for constituents in First District on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Kingsport at the Kingsport Center for Higher Education. Doors will open at 4:45 p.m. and seating will be first-come, first served.

June 1, 2019Packaged foods are convenient, cheap, and fast. However- they aren’t always the healthier option. There are many more cons than pros to choosing a packaged food. While grocery shopping- there are some key things to look out for just by looking at the ingredient label. Mostly, the length of the ingredient label.
Adult participants will have the opportunity to be more involved in the grocery store by understanding the most important things to watch out for when purchasing packaged foods and how they can be harmful to their health.
We will also create delicious and wholesome-ingredient recipes to sample in class!
Menu includes: Greek Vegetable and Feta Stir Fry, Garden Fresh Salad, Homemade Salad Dressing
Cost is $35 per person and ticket sales end May 30.
