October 1, 2022Leesburg Ruritan is once again starting the turkey shoot every Saturday night starting on October 1, 2022 through April 2023 at 1429 Old Stagecoach Road in Jonesborough.
It will be from 5:30 pm until about 7:00 pm with a cost of $2.50 per round with a minimum of 5 rounds.

October 22, 2022Crossroads Christian Church in Gray, Tennessee, will host a fun, family-friendly afternoon of free activities and candy on Saturday, October 22, from 4-6 p.m.
Children and families of all ages are encouraged to dress up in costumes and participate in the free activities, including inflatables, family photos, food, arcade-style games, and a special indoor candy maze designed for kids of all ages. This event is handicap accessible and has Teal/Blue Bucket options along the candy maze!

Halloween Haunts and Happenings

October 28, 2022Jonesborough’s Halloween Haunts & Happenings returns Friday, October 28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Jonesborough. Trick-or-treating takes place throughout downtown Jonesborough. There will also be games, activities and contests.
Hocus Pocus’ Sanderson Sisters will be at the Christopher Taylor Cabin provided by JRT Experiences. Attendees can take photos and tour the decorated cabin.
The costume contest starts at 7:30 p.m. in front of the Courthouse sponsored by Food City of Jonesborough. The contest will have several age groups and a group category. There is no registration required.
Parking will be available at the Jonesborough Elementary School with a shuttle to the Jonesborough Visitors Center. Parking is $5 per car with free shuttle rides available back and forth. All proceeds benefit the Davy Crockett Band Boosters.
