The City of Johnson City encourages residents to recycle gift wrap and gift boxes. Curbside recycling customers should place these items in recycling bins, which should be at the curb by 6 a.m. on collection day. Please remember to break down boxes.
Wrapping paper, boxes and other recyclables are also accepted at the following collection sites:
· 91 New St. (Solid Waste Services Complex)
· 3300 W. Market St. (behind Sonic Drive-in)
· 2311 Browns Mill Road (behind Kroger)
· 2544 Boones Creek Road (adjacent to Johnson City Power Board)
· 120 Carroll Creek Road (Winged Deer Park boat ramp parking lot)
As a reminder, plastic packaging and gift wrap with a foil finish are not recyclable and should be discarded in the trash.
