Science Hill and David Crockett both hit the road last Friday night and rolled back home with big victories.

The Hilltoppers (4-1, 2-0) got another impressive performance from quarterback Jaxon Diamond, who led his team to a 35-12 win. Diamond threw three touchdown passes – two of them to A.J. Martin during the decisive third quarter – and ran for another.

Meanwhile, David Crockett (3-2, 2-0) crushed Cocke County 49-12. Prince Kollie rumbled for over 150 yards and three scores to pace the Pioneers.

In other action, Daniel Boone’s volleyball team wrapped up a share of its first regular-season conference title in 25 years by knocking off Dobyns-Bennett in four sets. The Lady Trailblazers dropped the third game but prevailed 25-21, 25-19, 19-25, 25-20. Science Hill continued its stellar season by rolling to six victories en route to a championship in the Mountain Empire Classic over the weekend.
