The University High boys and girls basketball teams split a pair of basketball games against Sullivan Central last week.
The boys pulled off a thrilling 53-51 victory over the Cougars. Kaleb Meredith knocked down a pair of late free throws to help preserve the win and finished with 15 points. Matthew Carter led the way for UH with 16 points.
The Lady Cougars cruised to an easy win in the girls’ contest. Elideth Lopez and Ryleigh Owens were the standouts for UH.
