The Northeast Tennessee Region of the Tennessee Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association has released the 2018 All-Conference Team selections, and 37 Science Hill athletes were honored with 21 landing spots on the first team.
Haley Altman (50 freestyle, 100 breaststroke), Julia Davenport (100 free), Morgan Misenar (200 free), Isabel Tomita (200 free), Lexi Gay (100 butterfly, 200 IM) and Molly Bowman (200 IM) represented the Science Hill girls on the first team.
Jake McMackin (50 free, 100 free), Reece Bradford (200 free, 500 free), Jacob Clemons (500 free), Kodee Eads (100 back, 200 IM), Luke Barnes (100 back, 200 IM), James Bernedo (100 butterfly) and Nick Van Eaton (diving) were the Science Hill boys who earned spots on the first team.
Julia Davenport (50 free), Emma Hall (100 free, 100 back), Megan Barnes (200 free), Kayleigh Berg (500 free), Molly Bowman (100 back), Megan Barnes (100 back), Megan Gay (100 butterfly) and Lily Hamilton (diving) earned second-team honors for Science Hill while Kate Hamlin (100 free), Saanvi Goenka (200 free, 100 butterfly), Isabela Tran (500 free, 200 IM) and Kayleigh Berg (100 back) landed spots on the third team.
Meanwhile, Nour Shams (50 free, 100 free), Ryan Huber (100 free, 100 back), Jacob Clemons (200 free), Matthew Pohland (200 free, 500 free), Adkins Hodshon (500 free), James Bernedo (100 back), Victor Lam (100 breast), Aki Madhok (100 butterfly), Nicholas Dorr (diving) and William Peterson (diving) earned spots on the second team for the Science Hill boys. William Peterson (50 free), Michael Miranda (50 free, 100 butterfly), Jayden Anderson (100 free), Adkins Hodshon (100 butterfly), Jonah Cathelyn (200 IM) and Victor Lam (200 IM) were the Hilltoppers who earned third-team honors.
All-Conference team members are selected based on performances in individual events at the annual Northeast Tennessee Swimming and Diving Championship Meet.
