Ridgeview Elementary School hosted a variety of student and family oriented activities to build support for their school’s participation in the EPIC! (Encourage. Protect. Invest. Connect) initiative, which is observed in schools across the Washington County School System.

EPIC! was implemented 10 years ago and continues to evolve as a school-wide positive behavior support program, which encourages students to actively practice Responsibility, Respect and Cooperation in their school and in their community.

Ridgeview School celebrated with an exciting week of activities including special clothing theme days and a schoolwide EPIC Assembly. Students wore their favorite sports gear on Tuesday for Team Up with EPIC, dressed up as nerdy characters on Wednesday for Be Smart, Be EPIC, wore clashing clothes on Thursday for Don’t Clash, Be EPIC and western duds on Friday for Get Up & Get ‘Er Done with EPIC.

Eighth-grade teachers (L to R) Jeff Gray, Kristi Sanders and Deana Arwood aren’t afraid to clash for “Don’t Clash, Be EPIC!” Day.
