The ETSU Buccaneer football team will have a real home next year when they play their first home game Sept. 2, 2017 in a brand new constructed stadium located on the ETSU campus.

The new stadium has been under construction for the past year and, according to senior associate athletic director, Scott Carter, is slightly ahead of schedule and will be ready for the home opener. The stadium will have 7,000 seats with room for 10,000+ when using the grass berm for seating.

BurWil Construction is building the stadium and will cost $26.7 million when completed.

Additional amenities will include the west side tower for media space, hospitality suites and club hospitality area. There will be support structures in the northeast and northwest corners of the facility with restrooms and concessions for patrons with the east entry arch facing the main campus. The north end will include a large videoboard.
