Physical Education students at Liberty Bell Middle School had a golden opportunity to learn about the sport of bull riding last week.

With the Hometown Throwdown setting up shop in Freedom Hall, the kids had an opportunity to meet BootDaddy.com, a thousand-pound bull that used to send the world’s best cowboys tumbling to the ground when he worked the Professional Bull Riders circuit.

Joey Alvarez told the students about how the bulls are prepared for competition, and local bull rider Silas Turmire answered questions about competing in the sport.

Students had the opportunity to learn how bulls were cared for and meet BootDaddy.com, a thousand-pound bull.
BootDaddy.com was on hand to greet the kids.
