Carver Recreation Center, 322 W. Watauga Ave., invites all ages to celebrate Black History Month from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22. This event will feature a presentation on black history and recognize several local African-American entrepreneurs. Afterward, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy Taste of the Community and sample some of the finest soul food dishes in town.
