The Boone Ballerz spent the month of January collecting donations for Good Samaritan Ministries.
Each team was asked to bring in some items and they collected boxes and boxes full of warm clothes for the homeless. The kids rounded up hats, scarves, gloves, coats and other warm items. Food for the Good Samaritan food panty and general clothing items were also donated.
Boone Ballerz is a basketball and cheer program for children ages Kindergarten through 6th grade in Gray. This year around 400 kids are participating in the league on 34 basketball teams and eight cheer squads.
