University School 4th grade students took a daylong field trip to Oak Hill School and studied reading, writing, arithmetic, history, geography – even the pledge of allegiance – as they were prior to the turn of the last century.
Oak Hill School in Jonesborough hosts daylong field trips to educate youngsters on what school was like in the 1890s.
