Taste of Johnson City to be held on Sept. 9

For the second year in a row, the Taste of Johnson City will be held at the Blackthorn Club in Jonesborough. After being held in late October last year, the event will take place on Monday, Sept. 9 this year and will once again feature a wide array of specialties from area restaurateurs, caterers and beverage distributors.

The event will run from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased in person at the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce office, 603 East Market Street, or online at www.johnsoncitytnchamber.com/taste-of-johnson-city/. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

Participants to date include: Aubrey’s, Barberito’s Southwestern Grille & Cantina, Blackthorn Club at The Ridges, BoneFish Grill, Bronco Wine Company, Burger Bar at DoubleTree Hotel, Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, Cherokee Distributing, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, East Coast Wings+Grill, Firehouse Restaurant & Catering, Holston Distributing, Johnson City Brewing Company, Johnson City Country Club, Peggy Ann Bakery, Pepsi Beverages Company, Tennessee Hills Distillery, Universal Wine & Spirits and Wild Wing Cafe.
