A crew from the Tennessee Department of Correction’s Carter County Work Camp arrived Monday to begin construction of bridge decking and railing across Sinking Creek at Jacobís Nature Park. The men, some of whom have extensive skilled trades experience, will be at the site weekdays until the work is done, working with Johnson City Parks and Recreation Department employees to make trails on the parkís wooded side easier to access.
