The Kings Mountain Post 24, American Legion, will host the third annual 9/11 Remembrance and Patriots Day ceremony at the Johnson City Memorial Park. The ceremony will begin promptly at 8:30 am and will feature a joint honor guard comprised of members from the Police, Fire and EMS Departments.
The ceremony will last about 35 minutes. The ceremony will take place in the park’s amphitheater, which is best accessed from East Main Street across from Johnson City’s municipal building and police station.
