The Johnson City Area Home Builders Association Annual Home & Outdoor Show is the place for you to find what’s new in building, remodeling, hardscaping and most anything related to your home.

Need information about a new loan or refinance? Looking to update the kitchen cabinets or do something new with the master bathroom? You’ll find the resources to answer your questions all in one place.

This year’s show will feature building and renovation professionals that specialize in room additions, kitchen and bath remodeling, roofing, windows and doors along with an array of products and services to help you turn your home or yard into the home sweet home you have always wanted.

Tickets for this event will be General Admission and will be available on the days of the show. Tickets are $5 per person, per day. Children 12 and under admitted free when accompanied by paying adult. For more information, click here.

Battle of the Build-cSix area high schools will compete in a design and build project that will be displayed, judged, and awarded during this year’s show. Carter County combined CTE Departments, Daniel Boone High School, David Crockett High School, Elizabethton High School, Science Hill High School, and Unicoi County will present a completed project following specific rules and guidelines.

Students will be present to show and demonstrate their creations to the public. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and interact with the products. What happens if you find a project you would like to take home? Attendees will have the option to place a bid on each project through a silent auction process. The auction will close at the end of the Show on Sunday, February 18th and winning bids will be notified.

Battle of the Build awards ceremony will be on Sunday, February 18th.  After each project is judged by an independent panel of judges the winners will be announced. The 1st place project wins $1,000, 2nd place wins $500, and third place wins $250.
